Never hurts to wish and work towards fulfilling it. I think when any one starts a new chapter in ones life they would have the same feelings. A big step and lots of interesting things to come.

Should one be happy with what they have got? That depends on what they have got and what they want in the future.

As for past lives, I guess they help in the present learning curve. Learn from that life and improve on the present is a good way to view it, I guess.

A cool evening follows the daytime snow melt--perfect time for a mug of tea. I won't miss the closing ceremonies as the gadget was set to record it while the television is otherwise engaged.

This kind of evening is one conducive to small pet company (don't have one!) and lots of time with a warm throw and comfortable chair with a good book. Now I understand why people like pets--company and reason to engage in gentle play or petting. But pets need care and vet visits and maybe special food or medicine---money helps with all of the above, plus space for pet to roam in a safe area outside and see the birds and hear other creatures.

The rumours were true--new members will join the Pussycat Dolls, after two members left the group. It was known that members who did not get lead singing status wanted more time to shine in the band. But that is not to be as the group founder seems to be supporting the lead singer's position to remain there.

When things happen, they seem to come in groups in nearly the same time. Having a bit of adrenaline rushing now, while trying to get something done. Brevity is the wit of soul and typing--today's motto. :D

So I moved a vehicle off the driveway onto the wet, muddy ground, thinking I was usefully making room on the driveway. Since there is wind and lots of rain today, said vehicle is stuck in the mud. I am getting flack for having moved said vehicle. However the smooth wood planks put behind each tire by someone else is not doing the trick. Nor is my cardboard idea working out. Have to wait for the drying spell to try to get it out.

Need some drying matter to absorb water. Before mud firms, need to wedge traction aids. Good luck.

The chatter in the past few days is remarking upon first flower sightings: snowdrops, daffodils or crocuses. Alas, one of the four crocuses at home looks to have lapsed onto the ground.

Sunshine peeked out after a long grey sky and possible rain. Nice and warm!

Happy St. Patrick's Day to all those celebrating today! A good time to be with friends for dinner or a drink tonight.

It's been three years since I was in a pub on the very holiday, having an early supper with coworkers. Rather miss the dining out aspect!

In the "ewwww" category: a Swiss watch that will sell for $11,000 and contains fossilized feces. The purpose of such a watch: unknown.

If everyone who will shake hands with such a watch wearer knew about the watch contents, how fast will that person's social life change or drop off?

World Poetry Day is today (which is almost over). http://www.unesco.org/new/en/unesco/events/cultural-events/showUid/1063/ Well, I recommend a poem that begins with "There is no frigate like a book" by Emily Dickinson for one to read if anyone is lost as what to choose.

What inspires organizations to promote different days that may miss the general populace's attention?
