I am very much out of touch, I suppose. I don't recognize most of those names up there, but the Barrymore name I know, of course. That family has been in show business for a long time. I have a transcript that I did and stored a copy of one of the older Barrymore people talking about China and World War 2. That was a long time ago I did that, or should I say that he did the interview. 25 something years ago? Not sure where that transcript is. That was an educational experience.

Now that Drew member of the family, the name rings a bell. What has he done to deserve the Barrymore name?

I would think her biggest claim to fame would be the 2 Charlies Angels movies she co-starred in. She has done other movies but these 2 probably received the most attention.

Before Charlie's Angels, Drew did some movies that did not really take off--she did have a rom-com (romantic comedy) spell, including Home Fries because Hollywood thinks of her as cute.

She was known to have a drinking problem or substance problem around the time she was in the E.T. movie as a child. That problem was her father's too for he likes drink (and as a teen/adult, she has tried to get him help). Marriages-one to a bartender (not even a year) and one to Tom Green (comic from Canada) that also jumped the shark.

About a year or so ago, she was in an arthouse type film, something about Jackie Kennedy cousins, both called Edie. She was Little Edie.

My eyes noticed the happy little birthday cake graphic on the upper left corner of Yahoo Canada's webpage. Happy 15th Birthday, Yahoo!

Finding it hard to believe that Yahoo has been around for such a long time! My first email account was with Yahoo but I was a late-adopter of email---kind of needed some assurance that it was a useful tool and worth having an online address. Love that Internet access for email!
